Privacy
Pi Jump is a free game with no accounts, no ads and no third-party trackers. To tune the difficulty, it sends anonymous data about how each run went. You can turn this off at any time.
What is sent when a run ends
- A random ID made in your browser the first time you play (for example
a3f9…). It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or any account. - The result: how deep you got, how the run ended, the time, Perfect landings, mode (Casual or Ranked), number and length of pauses.
- Your inputs: when you pressed and released, counted in 1/120-second steps, and how long each jump took. This is what lets the game replay a run exactly.
- How you touched (phones): where on the hold pad your finger landed, and the touch size and pressure if your device reports them.
- Device class: touch screen or not, a rough screen size (phone, tablet or computer), frame rate, operating system family (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS…), whether the game runs as an installed app, and the interface language.
What is not collected
- No name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
- No IP address is stored with game data. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles network connections to deliver the page.
- No cookies, no advertising or analytics services, nothing sold or shared with anyone.
- Nothing leaves your device if you turn the setting off.
Why
To see where players get stuck (which π Blocks, which digit pairs, which devices) and make the game fairer, and in the future to check that leaderboard runs were played by a person.
Stored on your device only
Your settings, language, chosen mode, best scores and the last 200 run summaries are kept in your browser's local storage so the game remembers them. They never leave the device on their own.
